I'm a mid twenties wife, struggling to get through a quarter life crisis by throwing myself into the world of books. Then again, perhaps I'm in said quarter life crisis because I'm often found with my nose in a book or day dreaming of stories and other fictional lives.

I'm an aspiring author, though I've only completed one novel manuscript and two children's books so far. It's a life long dream however, to add copies of my own works next to my favorite well worn books. Occasionally I may make posts about personal projects, however my goal with this blog is to explore other worlds.

I currently live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and two dogs. I'm an early morning baker in wonderful bakery nestled in the heart of the city. When I'm not working, you can often find me at home with my husband reading or watching Doctor Who, Sherlock, or Supernatural (even though the latter usually terrifies me). I have the tendency to pick up books to read again and leave them perched around the house, ready to restart the adventure at a moment's notice. Often times, my husband will slide into bed only to find one or two books in his place. Luckily, he simply places them on the growing stack on the bedside table.



Speaking of stacks of books, perhaps I should grab the dozen books out of the backseat of his car. . . .
